We all know the key to a long healthy life is something called healthy life style. Everyone is talking about it now days. For sure a healthy life style is all about good, planned diet and regular exercise but who has the time to implement these things in life and then stick to them. We all can bring out hundreds of excuses of not exercising and relying on junk food despite we all want to live long by having a healthy life style. The basic problem is that we get bored of the routine, same bore food in the name of healthy diet and those tiring work outs. So why not bring out some fun in all this? Which could help you to lead a healthy life in an easy and enjoyable way? Before doing anything you must get to know where you stand. Check your weight according to body weight index and decide how much weight you need to lose or put on. Take a notice of how much on average do you smoke and drink if you do. This is going to help you in setting targets for yourself and making you regular.

Make A Diet Journal:

No plan could help you when it’s only in the air. Make a small journal for yourself and give it 15 minutes of the day. Take a rough note of your calorie intake daily and try to get close to your target. You do not need any exact values as you are not writing and research paper, do not stress yourself in those. Plan what you are going to eat in the coming week, try to plan everything. In start this is going to feel hectic but in a week or two it is going to show you some great results and you are going to get habitual of keeping track of your diet and planning it ahead of time.

Grow Your Own Food:

This looks tiring and hectic but it is not so and it is also going to provide you many additional benefits. We are not saying you to build a farm for the purpose. What we are suggesting is to grow some eatables in your back yard and even in your room. Some tomatoes, carrots, chilies or any other vegetables preferably in organic way. This is going to provide you with some healthy diet and they are going to be fantastic for your taste buds as they are grown by you. Healthy environment and green looks to your home would come as a bonus.

Exercise While Not Exercising:

You do not necessarily have to be in gym or do tiring work outs to keep you fit. All you have to do is to increase your movement. A great thing which could be done now days is to install a pedometer app in you smart phone. They will automatically make log of the daily steps you have taken, what you have to do is try to increase them. They are not very accurate though but they can provide some reference and some targets. Stop using elevators when you have to go just up to three stories up, use stairs for the purpose and they are going to provide you with a full work out.

Turn Off Your TV:

Why the hell do you need to watch the TV so much? There is just tension in the news and frustration in the serials. Just reduce the time of watching TV by forcing yourself and try to do something else. This doesn’t mean that you start using your cell phone or laptop, it mean to turn off the screen and do something else. For a day or two you’ll be hell bored like you have nothing else to do but then ways would start opening up. You’ll be spending more time with your family and friends, you’ll be doing some house hold works, some DIY projects and these all are very healthy activities.

Take Time For Yourself:

You do not always have to go on work. After all what you are doing is solely to please yourself and your family. Plan some holiday now and then; go to camping, fishing, sightseeing or anything else. Just free up your mind from everything else and look closely how beautiful the life and world is. Do you know in 2011 a study found out that the people who book a holiday for themselves at least thrice in a year get 80% less sick then the people who do not? So the moral is to enjoy your time to get a healthy long life.

You do not have to implement all these today. Remember taking baby steps which are directed towards your goal. Soon you’ll find yourself having a living style you always desired for but couldn’t implement. This is your life and only you are responsible for any good or bad happening to it.
